Science is an area of intrigue and exploration for those that choose to study it. However, the challenge for the UNSW Science marketing team was demonstrating the range of career opportunities open to science graduates after university.
In Phil’s role as the content producer, he was responsible for producing a series of web videos that illustrate the career opportunities available in the field of science. The videos feature UNSW alumni, undergraduate students and PhD candidates that work across biotechnology, climatology, science communication and construction. The videos were filmed in research labs, museums and offices across Sydney, Singapore and Jakarta.
The videos have been viewed more than 5,000 times across YouTube and Facebook and have been an ongoing asset for UNSW to showcase science career pathways. These stories also provided content for the careers pages in the 2017 UNSW Science Undergraduate Guide to further promote career options in the field of science.
